Environmental Policy

TL Industries, Inc. will strive to provide products and services which comply with applicable legal and customer environmental requirements, the ISO 140001:2000 Standard, and to minimize the overall environmental impact of such products and services. As a designer and manufacturer of microcomputers, many of the materials and components used are predetermined by the customer, the function of the assembly, or applicable industry standards. Within the limits and scope defined by our customers and when economically feasible, TL Industries, Inc. will select materials or processes which minimize the overall environmental impact of the products and services provided. TL Industries, Inc. will not knowingly accept contracts for design work or services which would result in violations of applicable legal and customer environmental requirements. The application of this environmental policy is intended to produce better products for our customers and improve the financial performance of manufacturing operations through better short and long term stewardship of our environmental resources. This policy will be implemented as part of TL’s Quality Management System (QMS) which includes continual improvement activities directed at reducing environmental impact and preventing pollution. As part of the QMS, regular reviews of the environmental systems’ goals and targets will be conducted, including a review of this Environmental Policy and its related procedures. This policy will be communicated to all employees during employee training and to those working on behalf of the organization or the public in general via TL Industries, Inc. web site.
